Flemming’s first and only grandchild, Malcolm, was born in 2000. “Bedstefar” is Danish for “grandfather” and it was a very meaningful word for us all.

7. Funeral and Burial

Flemming died on October 11, 2009. Funeral was held at Trinity United Church, Mahone Bay, on Oct. 17, and burial took place in Abercrombie Cemetery, Pictou Co., the following day. See In Memorium for more.
